I have always hated Basketball, I never understood the rules, it looks boring to play and its damn boring to watch a bunch of tall ugly ungainly looking guys trying to throw a ball into a hoop.  Seriously I never really grasped what made a skillful b-ball player any good and I certainly never understood the phenomenon of Michael Jordan.

Well all that has changed thanks to one spectacular man.

I sat and watched game 5 of the playoffs, Cleveland Cavaliers vs Detroit Pistons and was totally blown away by the skill and atheliticsm of the 22 year old superstar LeBron James.

I had seen the highlights of the previous two games with LeBron literally snatching victory away from the Pistons to bring the Cavs within two games of making the finals. So when I sat down to watch the game (in HD of course)  I was hoping to witness something special from LeBron James and the Cavs. Not only was it something special but it will go down as one of the greatest games of all time. Double overtime and one of the greatest performances by a player of all time. LeBron had to be put on an IV drip after the game he was so tired, but he had led his team to a 3-2 series lead and two nights later they won the last game and were through to the final.

I get it, I finally get it, thank-you LeBron James, you’re absolutely unbelievable! Go Cavs, I will be watching the finals thats for sure!!!

Here are a few good reasons why I haven’t written a single post while I was away:

Drinking a beer in the Chicago sun on a long weekend - $6

Watching the Cubs get spanked at Wrigley field, not once but twice - $60

Getting to do this on a work trip - Priceless.
